Long weekend

Thursday, August 31st, 2006

I need a little break some time soon. Will take a long weekend in September and maybe head off to Paris to recharge my batteries (:|Went to some doctoral appointments to get some check-ups. Everything was fine so far. I guess I am fortunate. Let’s pray that it stays that way [-O<

Any man can be a father, but it takes a special person to be a dad

Tuesday, August 22nd, 2006

My mom did a wonderful job raising me and my twinsister. I just wished I would know more about my dad. Sometimes I do wonder what it would had been like to have been raised by both parents - but then again: would things had been better then?

Ten thousand sorrows by Elizabeth Kim

Tuesday, August 22nd, 2006

This books tells the true story of this young honhyol, a mixed race child, who watches her mother’s murder. As a child, Elizabeth eventually gets adopted by an american family after spending some time in a korean orphanage…This books has caused quite some controversy in terms of validity in regard to certain facts but I guess it’s up to the reader to decide whether it is liked or not….

Hannover

Saturday, August 19th, 2006

I am tired. Just returned from a 3 day business trip to the north eastern part of Germany. I was lucky to take a flight to Hannover where I had lived a couple of years before I moved to the southern part of Germany. It’s a beautiful city and well worth a visit.

Beautiful Viet Nam

Sunday, August 13th, 2006

My visit to Viet Nam had left a deep impression in my heart. Growing up and living in Europe for most of the time had left his marks and traces. I never thought that the few days that I was able to spend there would ever made me feel so at home. I wish to return one day and who knows maybe then it would be forever. I love you - beautiful Viet Nam!
